Crystal Device

In order to test some low-energy radiation signals, the incident window of radiation is required to use materials with the lowest atomic number possible. Beryllium window is a good choice. Generally, such devices are cylindrical and radiate a beryllium sheet of a certain thickness with an incident window and quartz or glass with an outlet window, depending on the wavelength of the crystal. The length-diameter ratio of the crystals of such devices is generally less than or equal to 1.
